Hi this is Maria… Welcome to Maria’s Craftroom! Previously known as Maria’s Digital Planning, this will be my new home for all my ideas! Today, I’ll show you how to make this easy Flip It Card using dies by Stamps of Life, various products by StampinUp, and assorted other stuff found in my craftroom.
I like to use what I have, so I end up mixing and matching various brands and products. As an impatient crafter (impatient in life in general), I like to be able to run to the store when I run out of something. Sometimes I do buy online and wait….. I must admit that there are some products I do shop online for and wait for because I do prefer their quality.
In this case, we are using an Exclusive Flip It die set from Stamps of Life. I love their die sets because you get so many dies included, and they all layer beautifully. The stamps I used are Whiskey Business from StampinUp. Also the inks are mostly from StampinUp. The rest was stuff I had in my craft room.
Instructions:
Use your favorite die cutting machine to cut the die shapes and layering pieces. I use the large Gemini from Crafter’s Companion because it can pretty much cut anything. Then stamp your images and watercolor to your liking. Assemble the card using adhesive dot runner, although you could use any you like. I used mini dimentionals to pop up the watercolor cut outs. Some of my shapes were cut out by hand, fussy cut, because I don’t always buy the matching dies. That’s it! Easy Flip It Card.
