Easy Fall Card

Hi this is Maria… Welcome to Maria’s Craftroom! Today we’re making an Easy Fall Card. I like to mix and match products and use what I have.

Instructions:

Today we’re making an easy Fall Themed Card. No dies will be used today. Instead we will use a couple of paper punches. I find these so useful when making lots of repetitive cuts, and easy to use.

  • Card Base: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 in
  • Solid: 4 x 5 1/4 in
  • Accent: 3 3/4 x 5 in
  • Sentiment: 3 x 4 1/4 in

First, cut all the layering pieces. Then stamp the inside sentiment and the flowers. Punch out the flowers. I like to make two images for each flower and stager them over each other using glue dots. Use a bone folder to curl the edges of the petals. Be careful to hold the center of the flowers or you may break off a petal or two.

Stamp the smaller flowers off the edge of the white paper we’re using for the sentiment. Use a scratch piece of paper beneath it to keep things tidy. Adhere the layering pieces to the card base. Lay the punched flowers momentarily in position so that you have a good look at where the sentiment will fit best. Move the flowers aside to do stamp the sentiment. Then adhere the punched flowers using mini dimentionals.

Add some bling to the center of the flowers for an extra pop. That’s it! Super easy card in beautiful fall colors.
