Sometimes, when you are a beginner, making cards can seem daunting. Don’t fret! you don’t need lots of stuff to get started. If you have a stamp set and paper, you can make a very beautiful card. In this case, I made my own patterned paper using the stamps in the set. A little layering and voila! Stunning, easy card.

Today we’re making the first video in a series using the Merriest Moments Photopolymer Set (156353). As the series continues, we will also use the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder (156385) to show how much more you can do when you get the accompanying products.
Card 1 of 3 Instructions:
- Card Base: Basic White (159276) – 8 ½ x 5 ½ in, scored and folded in half
- Mat layer: Smoky Slate (131202) – 4 ¼ x 5 ½ in
- Accent layer: Basic White (159276) – 3 ¾ x 4 ¾ in
- Sentiment: Basic White (159276) – 2 ¼ x 3 in
Cut your paper to size. Use a stamp block to stamp the leaves onto the larger white paper. Stamp the sentiment on the smaller white piece. Dot the multipurpose glue on the back, and use dimensionals to attach the smaller to the large white pieces. Dot the multipurpose glue on the back of that, and secure it to the Basic Gray mat layer. Then secure that all to the Basic White card base. That’s it!
