Hi this is Maria. Today we’re making a cute little gift bag. I needed something small for a tiny Christmas gift, but this bag could be used for treats or stocking stuffers. It’s tiny and sooo cute! It’s very easy to make. You should try this!
Measurements:
- Hues of Happiness DSP – 4 x 10.5 in
- Melon Mambo – 1 ½ x 3 in
- Basic White – 1 ¼ x 2 ¾ in
- Ribbon – 16 in
- Scrap of Melon Mambo
Instructions:
Cut your paper to size. Score the pretty DSP on long side at 1, 5, 6, 10 in. Score the short side at 1 in. Fold and burnish. Use a strong adhesive to assemble the bag. I used liquid glue in this case since what I’m packing is not heavy at all. Stamp the sentiment onto the Basic White piece you cut out. Attach the sentiment layer to the Melon Mambo layering piece. Then attach the layered sentiment to the bag. Use the scrap of Melon Mambo to cut a flower. I used a retired Small Bloom punch and used a Wink of Stella brush to add some glitter to the petals. Attach the flower to the sentiment layers. Use a hole punch to put two small holes at the top of the bag. I go just inside the folds of the bag so that the holes end up pretty close to the same distance from the edge. Push the ribbon into one hole from the front to the back, across the back, and back to front on the other hole. Tie a bow at the front. The finished bag is 4 x 1 x 3 in. That’s it!
