Hi this is Maria. Today we’re using the Paper Pumpkin Kit for December to make cards instead of boxes. It’s good to go outside the box and make your own creations with these kits.
Measurements:
Card 1
- Card Base: Basic White 8 ½ x 5 ½ in, scored and folded in half to 4 ½ x 5 ½ in
- Belly Band from Kit: cut to 5 ¾ x 3 in
- Stars Tag from Kit
Instructions:
Use the silicone mat to protect your surface. Tap the Blending Brush into the Garden Green Ink Pad. Swirl the color onto the card front to make a soft colorful background. Use sentiments, tags, and paper from the kit. Stamp the sentiment Special Delivery onto the included tag. Stamp a sentiment Good Things Come In Small Packages to the inside of the card. Attach the cut belly band at an angle onto the card base using liquid glue. Attach the tag to the bellyband using dimensionals. Don’t forget some enamel dots to finish the cad.
Card 2
- Card Base: Basic White 8 ½ x 5 ½ in, scored and folded in half to 4 ½ x 5 ½ in
- Belly Band from Kit: cut to 2 ¼ x 3 in
- Birthday Tag from Kit
- Circle from Kit
- Cupcake cutout from Kit
Instructions:
Use the silicone mat to protect your surface. Tap the Blending Brush into the Garden Green Ink Pad. Swirl the color onto the card front to make a soft colorful background. Use sentiments, tags, and paper from the kit. Stamp the sentiments Happy and Birthday onto the circle. Stamp the heart shaped With Love to the confetti tag. When you cut the belly band for card 1, you had a leftover piece. That is your 2 ¼ x 3 in piece. Use the back side of this and attach it diagonally to the card with liquid glue. Attach the confetti tag to the card next. Then use dimensionals to attach the circle to the tags. Attach a cupcake cutout onto the circle. That’s it!
