Pencil Box – Dainty Flowers

Hi this is Maria. Today we’re making a pencil box for my water color pencils. These came in their own boxes, but they were two sets. This will keep them all together in one box. The finished box is 2 ½ x 7 in.

Measurements:

• Mossy Meadow CardStock: 7 ¼ x 8 in
• Mossy Meadow CardStock: 7 ¼ x 2 in
• Dainty Flowers DSP: 2 ¼ x 5 ¾ in
• Dainty Flowers DSP: 2 ¼ x ¾ in

Box Instructions:

1. Cut your paper to size.
2. 7 ¼ x 8 in Mossy Meadow: On the 7 ¼ in side, score at 1, 3 ½, 4 ½, 7.
3. Turn the paper. On the 8 in side, score at 1 in.
4. Burnish all your lines.
5. Cut small miters into the 1 in pieces.
6. Use Stampin’Seal on the ¼ in piece to close side of the box. 
7. Use Liquid Glue to attach the DSP onto the bottom of the box front.
8. Use Liquid Glue on the flaps to close the bottom of the box.

Lid Instructions:

1. 7 ¼ x 2 in Mossy Meadow: on the 7 ¼ in side, place a scrap on the left edge, then score at 1, 3 ½, 4 ½, 7.
2. Turn the paper. On the 2 in side, place a scrap on the left edge, then score at 1 in.
3. Burnish all your lines.
4. Cut small miters into the 1 in pieces.
5. Use Stampin’Seal on the ¼ in piece to close side of the lid. 
6. Use Liquid Glue to attach the DSP onto the top of the lid front.
7. Use Liquid Glue on the flaps to close the top of the lid.
8. That’s it! You’ve made a beautiful box and lid.
