Condolence Card – Peaceful Moments – Dainty Flowers

Hi this is Maria. Today we’re making a condolence card. It’s not always easy to make these, so I suggest you make a bunch before you need them. That way you have some always ready to use.

Craft with me!

Easy step by step instructions on YouTube so that you can watch, pause as needed, and craft along.

I apologize for my somber tone in this video. I just couldn’t be cheerful while making this card. This card was made “on the fly” so there was a bit of trial and error. Usually, I make a sample card, and then have clear instructions ready for filming. Not this time.

Measurements:

  • Basic White: 8 ½ x 5 ½ in, folded in half
  • Dainty Flowers DSP: 4 x 5 ¼ in (dark pattern)
  • Dainty Flowers DSP: ¾ x 4 in (dark pattern)
  • Dainty Flowers DSP: 2 ¼ x 3 ½ in (floral)
  • Mossy Meadow Card Stock: 1 ¼ x 3 ¾
  • Mossy Meadow Card Stock: 1 ¾ x ¾ in
  • Basic White: ½ x 1 ½ in
  • Basic White: 2 ½ x 2 ½ in (for the punch)

Instructions:

  1. Cut your paper to size.
  2. Use Stampin’ Seal to adhere the Dainty Flowers dark patterned paper to the card base.
  3. Use Stampin’ Seal to adhere the 1 ¼ x 3 ¾ in Mossy Meadow to the left side of the card front.
  4. Use stamping Seal to adhere the floral piece to the Mossy Meadow leaving a small border on the left.
  5. Use the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad to stamp the sentiment “Always Remember” on the ½ x 1 ½ in Basic White piece.
  6. Use Stampin’ Seal to adhere the sentiment layer to the small Mossy Meadow piece.
  7. Adhere the sentiment layers to the card front, low and on the right.
  8. On the inside, use Stampin’ Seal to adhere the ¾ x 4 in dark pattern to the right side of the card.
  9. Use the Decorative Circle Punch on the 2 ½ x 2 ½ Basic White.
  10. Stamp the sentiment “With Deepest Sympathy” onto the punch out.
  11. Dip the sentiment into the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad to get some color on the edges.
  12. Adhere the sentiment to the inside of the card in the center.
  13. That’s it! You’ve made a beautiful card.
