Peaceful Moments – Dainty Flowers – Thank You Card

Hi this is Maria. Today we’re making a beautiful Love You Card using Dainty Flowers DSP and Dainty Flowers Stamp Set.

So sorry I’ve been away for so long. I was out on vacation for a week, and then was sick for almost two. Now, I’m back to my desk and back to making pretty stuff!

We are working on the fly today, with no plan, and shot in one take! No editing today. I usually plan every detail, worry over what to make, procrastinate to get started, and take forever in editing. It’s wearing me out and stressing me out. Stress is not allowed!! So, I’ve decided to step back and just enjoy the process. My future videos may be a bit more scatterbrained, but I don’t want this to turn into work. I love making things, and I want to continue to do so. I just need to adjust so that this all remains fun to do.

Ok rant over! Lets get to crafting!

Craft with me!

Easy step by step instructions on YouTube so that you can watch, pause as needed, and craft along.

Measurements:

  • Basic White: 8 ½ x 5 ½ in, folded in half
  • Dainty Flowers DSP: 4 x 5 ¼ in (Blushing Bride)
  • Dainty Flowers DSP: 3 ½ x 4 ¾ in (flower pattern)
  • Scrap of Basic White

Instructions:

  1. Cut your paper to size.
  2. Use liquid glue to adhere the Blushing Bride DSP, centered on the card front.
  3. Use liquid glue to adhere the flower pattern DSP to the Blushing Bride paper, centered on the card front.
  4. Use Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad to stamp the sentiment “Thank You” on the scrap of Basic White.
  5. Punch that out with the small oval from the Double Oval Punch.
  6. Punch the scalloped oval from the scrap of Basic White.
  7. Dip the edges of the scalloped oval into the Blushing Bride Ink Pad.
  8. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the scalloped oval to the center of the flowers on the card front.
  9. Use liquid glue to attach the Thank You oval to the scalloped one.
  10. Use Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad to stamp the sentiment “You shouldn’t have, but I’m glad you did” on the inside of the card.
  11. Use Mossy Meadow and Blushing Bride Ink Pads to stamp flowers on the inside of the card  and the envelope.
  12. Don’t forget some bling from the Pastel Adhesive Sequins on the Thank You oval on the front.
  13. That’s it! You’ve made a beautiful card.
