Celebrating You – Country Lane – Heart Shamrock

Hi this is Maria. Today we’re making a beautiful card using Celebrating You cling stamp set, Country Lane Designer Series Paper, Country Gingham, and a couple of punches. I like to use what I have, so we are making use of a mostly Valentine style paper to make this card. We will make a shamrock using the Country Bouquet punch as well.

Measurements:

• Soft Suede: 8 ½ x 5 ½ in, folded in half (card base)
• Country Floral Lane: 4 x 5 ¼ in (flower paper)
• Country Floral Lane: 2 ¾ x 4 in (grid paper)
• Soft Suede: 3 x 4 ¼ in
• Scrap of Basic White
• Scrap of Country Floral Lane (flower paper)

Instructions:

1. Cut your paper to size. 
2. Use Stampin’ Seal to adhere the Country Floral 4 x 5 ¼ in piece to the card front.
3. Use Stampin’ Seal to adhere the Country Gingham to the 3 x 4 ¼ in piece of Soft Suede.
4. Cut about 5 in of Burlap ribbon. Wrap this around the Country Gingham and Soft Suede layered piece. Secure on the back with Stampin’ Seal.
5. Use Liquid Glue to adhere this to the card front.
6. Use the Decorative Circle Punch to cut the shape from the scrap of Basic White.
7. Use Mossy Meadow Ink to stamp “The best is yet to come” onto the shape.
8. Dip the edges of the shape into Mossy Meadow Ink to get some color on the edges.
9. Use the Country Bouquet Punch to cut three large and three small hearts from the scrap of Country Floral Lane.
10. Decide witch side of the hearts you prefer to use. I used the reverse side.
11. Use Fine Tip Glue or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the hearts together to make shamrocks.
12. Use Liquid Glue to adhere the Decorative Circle shape onto the ribbon in the center of the card front.
13. Use Liquid Glue to adhere the large heart shamrock and slide them behind the decorative circle shape.
14. Use Liquid Glue to adhere the small heart shamrock to the front of the opposite side of the shape.
15. Add Pastel Adhesive Sequins to the decorative circle shape .
16. Stamp “Lots of Love” in Mossy Meadow Ink to the inside of the card.
17. That’s it! You’ve made a beautiful card.
