Ribbon – Celebrating You – Easter Card

Hi this is Maria. Today we’re making an easy Easter Card using ribbon and beautiful Designer Series Paper. I love using what I have. So, since I didn’t have a cross die or stamp, I decided to create one from ribbon.

Measurements:

• Basic White  8 ½ x 5 ½ in, scored and folded in half to 4 ¼  x 5 ½ in
• Crumb Cake 4 ¼ x 5 ½ in
• Hues of Happiness 4 x 5 ¼ in
• Crumb Cake 3 ¼ x 4 ½ in
• Basic White 3 x 4 ¼ in
• Crumb Cake 2 x 1 in
• Basic White 1 ¾ x ¾ in
• Burlap Ribbon cut 16 in

Instructions:

1. Cut your paper to size. 
2. Use Liquid Glue to adhere the Crumb Cake 4 ¼ x 5 ½ to the card base.
3. Use Liquid Glue to adhere the Hues of Happiness 4 x 5 ¼ to the card front.
4. Use Liquid Glue to adhere adhere the 2nd set of layering pieces – Crumb Cake and Basic White to the card front.
5. Cut a 9 in length of Burlap Ribbon. Fold it in half. Use Liquid Glue to adhere half the ribbon length-wise onto the Basic White already on the card front. Use Glue Dots to adhere the folded 2nd half of that same ribbon down. Give it a slight twist so you see both legs of that ribbon.
6. Cut a 7 in length of Burlap Ribbon. Fold it in half. Use Liquid Glue to adhere half the ribbon width-wise in the form of a Cross over the ribbon already on the paper. Use Glue Dots to adhere the folded 2nd half of that same ribbon. Give this a slight twist so you see both legs of this ribbon also.
7. Stamp Happy Easter from the Celebrating You stamp set onto the 1 ¾ x ¾ in Basic White.
8. Use Liquid Glue to adhere the sentiment layer to it’s 2 x 1 in Crumb Cake.
9. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the layered sentiment onto the card front.
10. Add Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins for a bit of bling on the Cross and sentiment.
11. That’s it! You’ve made a beautiful card!
