Hi this is Maria. Today we’re making an easy Gate Fold Card. We’ll be using the retiring Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper, and retiring Happiness Abounds Stamp Set. I love this paper! So sad to see it retire, but I will continue to use it and the other retiring products as much as I can. That way, you can see them in action while you can still get them.
Don’t forget to check the Specials Section on my Stampin’ Up page for the latest discounts, and the What’s New Section for cool new (sometimes online only) items!

Instructions:
- Cut your paper to size, and cut some flowers and leaves from Hues of Happiness DSP.
- Score the Daffodil Delight Card Stock at 2 ⅛ in and at 6 ⅜ in. Then fold along the score lines.
- Using Coastal Cabana Ink:
- Stamp the sentiment “Sending many thanks for all you do” centered on the 3 ½ x 4 ¾ in Basic White, and a small bouquet in the corner.
- Stamp the sentiment “Friend” on the ½ x 2 ¼ in Basic White.
- Use liquid glue to adhere the large sentiment layer onto the 4 x 5 ¼ in DSP. Adhere both layers centered onto the inside of the card base.
- Fold the card base shut. Use liquid glue to adhere the smaller Hues of Happiness DSP pieces onto the flaps on the card front.
- Make a belly band by wrapping the Burlap Ribbon around the folded card base. Use Stampin’ Seal to secure the ribbon to itself. Make sure it is loose enough to slide easily.
- Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere a large flower onto the Burlap Ribbon.
- Use liquid glue to adhere the smaller flowers to each other.
- Use Stampin’ Seal to adhere the smaller flowers to the Burlap Ribbon slightly behind the larger flower that is higher on dimensionals. Use liquid glue to reinforce these onto the ribbon if necessary.
- Use liquid glue to adhere the leaves behind the two smaller flowers. All the flowers should form a small cluster.
- Slide the bellyband onto the closed card.
- Use liquid glue to adhere the small sentiment onto the card front. It should overlap one of the folds on the front.
- Use Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins on the ribbon and on the small sentiment to add some bling to the card front.
- That’s it! You’ve made a beautiful card!
