Mother’s Day – Assembly Line

Hi this is Maria. Today we’re making Mother’s Day Cards! I’ll show you my assembly line process so to make several similar cards all together. We’re using some New Designer Series Paper called Fresh as a Daisy as well as Places in the Heart and In the Moment Stamp Sets. These came forward from the old catalog.

Measurements:

• Card Base:  Basic White  8 ½ x 5 ½ in, scored and folded in half to 4 ½ x 5 ½ in (cut 6)
• Fresh as a Daisy DSP: 4 ½ x 5 ½ in (one 12 x 12 sheet – cut 6)
• Fresh as a Daisy DSP: 4 x 5 ¼ in (one 12 x 12 sheet – cut 6)
• Basic White: 2 ½ x 3 in (cut 4)
• Basic White: 3 ½ x 3 ¼ in (cut 1)
• Basic White 2 ½ x 4 in (cut 1)

Instructions:

1. Cut your paper to size.
2. Use Stazon Black Ink to stamp the images from Places in the Heart and In the Moment Stamp Sets onto the cut Basic White pieces.
3. Use a Blender Brush to shade the edges of these stamped pieces with Bubble Bath Ink.
4. Use a Water Painter to water color the images. I used: Bubble Bath, Berry Burst, Lost Lagoon, Crushed Curry, Early Espresso, Blueberry Bushel.
5. Use Stampin’ Seal to adhere the DSP layers together, and then to the card front.
6. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the stamped Basic White layer onto the card front.
7. Stamp a sentiment on the inside of the card.
8. That’s it! You’ve made lots of beautiful cards!
