Mix and Match – Beside Me – Places in the Heart Card

Hi this is Maria. Today we’re making a beautiful card using Fresh as a Daisy Designer series Paper. We’ll also be mixing two stamp sets: Places in the Heart and Beside Me. I love to mix and match stamp sets to fit the occasion. Do you do that?

Measurements:

• Card Base: Basic White 4 ¼  x 5 ½ in
• Fresh as a Daisy DSP: 4 x 5 ¼ in
• Fresh as a Daisy DSP: 3 ½ x 4 ¾ in
• Basic White: 2 ½ x 3 ¾ in
• Basic White: 2 ½ x 1 in
• Glittered Organdy Ribbon: 9 in

Instructions:

1. Cut your paper to size.
2. Use liquid glue to adhere the 4 x 5 ¼ in DSP to the card front.
3. Use Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the 3 ½ x 4 ¾ in DSP to the card front.
4. Use Early Espresso to stamp the image from Places in the Heart Stamp Set onto the top 2 ½ x 3 ¾ in Basic White.
5. Use Early Espresso to stamp the sentiment from Beside Me Stamp Set onto the lower portion 2 ½ x 3 ¾ in Basic White.
6. Use Water Color Pencils and a Blending Brush to shade in the image.
7. Use Early Espresso to stamp a sentiment on the 2 ½ x 1 in Basic White.
8. Dip the edge of the 2 ½ x 1 in into the Early Espresso to give some color to the edges. 
9. Use liquid glue to adhere the sentiment layer to the inside of the card.
10. Use Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the image layer onto the card front.
11. Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the ribbon behind the image layer, across the top and bottom.
12. Add Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins for some bling.
13. That’s it! You’ve made a beautiful card!
