Use a ScanNCut to cut Stamped Images

Hi this is Maria. Today we’re making an easy card, and using my ScanNCut to cut the shapes out for us!  The Little Monkey stamp set has a punch available, but no dies. I’m going to show you how I use my ScanNCut to quickly cut out my stamped images. We’ll also make a shadow for a punched out piece. This is so helpful for layering shapes! If you don’t have a cutting machine, don’t stress. Simply cut out the images by hand or “fussy cut” them out.

NOTE: I do not sell ScanNCut. I simply have one and love to use it!

Craft with me!

Easy step by step instructions on YouTube so that you can watch, pause as needed, and craft along.

Today we’re making an easy card, and using my ScanNCut to cut the shapes out for us!

Instructions:

  1. Cut your paper to size.
  2. Use “Little Monkey” stamp set and Early Espresso Ink to stamp a branch and a monkey onto the scrap of Basic White.
  3. Use “Something Fancy” stamp set and Early Espresso Ink to stamp Happy Birthday and a sentiment onto the inside of the card base.
  4. Use the Double Oval Punch to punch the larger wavy oval over the Happy Birthday sentiment.
  5. Use Stampin’ Seal to attach the punched oval to the scrap of Garden Green.
  6. Fussy cut the remaining stamped images or use the ScanNCut to cut them for you. (See video for more details).
  7. Use Water Color Pencils to shade in the monkey, branch and leaves. Smooth the coloring lines with a Blender Pen.
  8. Use liquid glue to attach the Garden Green and Earthen Elegance layers to the card front.
  9. Use Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the branch, monkey and sentiment to the card front.
  10. Add Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels for some bling on the sentiment layer
  11. That’s it! You’ve made a beautiful card!
