Hi this is Maria. Today we’re making a beautiful card showing off embossing powders. I’ll show you how to use embossing powder to make your cards really stand out. We’ll also use the Something Fancy stamp set and Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper. If you don’t know how to make a bow, just make a knot and go with it.

Measurements:
- Card Base: Basic White 4 ¼ x 5 ½ in
- Cajun Craze Card Stock: 4 ⅛ x 5 ⅜ in
- Fresh as a Daisy DSP: 4 x 4 in
- Glittered Organdy Ribbon: 9 in

Instructions:
- Cut your paper to size.
- Use liquid glue to adhere the 4 x 4 in DSP to the Cajun Craze Card Stock. Line up the top corners leaving a small gap.
- Use an embossing buddy to wipe the bottom of the card stock.
- Use Versamark ink to stamp “Happy Birthday” from the Something Fancy Stamp Set.
- Use a coffee filter to catch any loose powder.
- Pour the embossing powder over the stamped image. Try to be quick. It gives you a few minutes of time before it dries, but don’t wait too long.
- Use a Heat Tool to melt the powder. Turn on the heat tool, and let it run a few seconds to warm up.
- Heat the back of the card also to reduce the chance of warping.
- Use liquid glue to adhere the Cardstock onto the Card Base.
- Add Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins for some bling.
- Cut two lengths of Glittered Organdy Ribbon the width of the card base (roughly 9 in total).
- Tie one length around the other to make a simple knot.
- Adhere the ribbon knot with Mini Glue Dots. Also use a Mini Glue Dot on each side to secure the legs of the ribbon.
- That’s it! You’ve made a beautiful card!
