Rustic Crate – Watercolor Pencils – Fall Card

Hi this is Maria. Today we’re using Water Color Pencils and a Blender pen to easily color some fall images. I love to color! If you’re looking for a cost effective way to get beautiful color, then colored pencils are a good way to go. We’ll be using Rustic Crate Stamp Set and Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper to make this easy card.

Measurements:

• Card Base: Basic White 4 ¼  x 5 ½ in
• Gray Granite Card Stock: 4 ⅛ x 5 ⅜ in
• Basic White: 2 ⅝ x 4 ½ in
• Earthen Elegance DSP: 2 ½ x 3 ⅜ in
• Basic White: Scrap

Instructions:

1. Cut your paper to size.
2. Use Stampin’ Seal to adhere the Grey Granite to the card front.
3. Use Stampin’ Seal to adhere the DSP to the 2 ⅝ x 4 ½ in Basic White.
4. Use Stampin’ Seal to adhere the layers off center onto the card front.
5. Use Stazon Ink to stamp the pumpkin image and sentiment onto the scraps of Basic White.
6. Use Gray Granite Ink to stamp the crate piece onto a scrap of Basic White.
7. Use snips to fussy cut out the crate. Cut the piece in half down the long side if you want a narrower crate.
8. Use the 1 ¾ in Circle Punch to cut out the sentiment.
9. Use Watercolor Pencils  Pumkpin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Garden Green, and Early Espresso to color the stamped image.
10. Use a Blender Pen to blend away any pencil marks.
11. Use snips to fussy cut the colored image.
12. Use a Sponge Dauber to pounce on the Gray Granite Ink Pad and dab around the edge of the punched circle for a soft color.
13. Use Stampin’ Mini Dimensionals to adhere the three cutouts onto the card front.
14. Add Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins onto the circle for some bling.
15. That’s it! You’ve made a beautiful card!
