Bee My Valentine – Most Adored

Hi this is Maria. Today we’re making a bee-autiful St. Valentine’s Day card. I love using punches, and this one does not disappoint. We’re also using some of the Free with purchase Designer Series Paper called Most Adored. This is available during Sale-a-Bration so don’t miss out.

Measurements:

• Card Base:  Basic White 4 ¼  x 5 ½ in
• Mat Layer:  Most Adored DSP: 4 x 5 ¼ in
• Mat Layer:  Most Adored DSP: 2 ½ x 1 ¾ in
• Contrast Layer: Most Adored DSP: 3 ½ x 4 ¾ in
• Sentiment:  Basic White: 2 ½ x 1 ¾ in
• Scrap:  Basic White

Instructions:

1. Cut your paper to size.
2. Perennial Postage Dies to cut the Contrast layer and the Sentiment layer into stamp shapes.
3. Use Real Red Ink to stamp “You’ll always bee the one for me” onto the sentiment layer.
4. Use Daffodil Delight Ink to stamp hearts onto the sentiment layer.
5. UseDaffodil Delight and Memento Blank Ink to stamp the bee and wings onto scraps of Basic White.
6. Use the Bee Builder Punch to cut out the bee and wings.
7. Use liquid glue to adhere the 4 x 5 ¼ in layer onto the card front.
8. Use liquid glue to adhere the contrast layer onto the card front.
9. Use liquid glue to adhere the sentiment layer onto the 2 ½ x 1 ¾ in layer. Attach this layered sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
10. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the bee and wings onto the contrast layer overlapping the sentiment layers.
11. Use Wink of Stella to add some glimmer to the wings and bee.
12. Add Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins onto the hearts of the sentiment layer for additional bling.
13. Use Real Red Ink to stamp “Happy Valentine’s Day” onto the inside of the card.
14. Use Daffodil Delight Ink to stamp hearts around the sentiment.
15. That’s it! You’ve made a beautiful card!
