Valentine Card – Country Bouquet – Country Floral Lane

Hi this is Maria. Today we’re making Valentine Cards!! This Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper does all the work for you making a beautiful card with very little effort.

I love using paper punches too. If you need to make a lot of cut outs, a punch is for you. We cut the hearts and leaves directly from the DSP in this paper pack using the Country Bouquet Punch.  The sentiment layers are also cut using the Double Oval Punch. So easy.

Measurements:

• Card Base: Basic White, 8 ½ x 5 ½ in, folded in half
• Country Floral Lane DSP, 4 x 5 ¼ in – hearts page
• Country Floral Lane DSP, 2 ⅝ x 4 in (cut 2) – bicycle page
• Scrap of Basic White
• Scrap of Country Floral Lane DSP – back of bicycle page
• Scrap of Country Floral Lane DSP – large hearts page

Instructions:

1. Cut the Country Floral Lane DSP hearts page to 4 x 5 ¼ in. 
2. Cut the Country Floral Lane DSP bicycles page to 2 ⅝ x 4 in, two pieces. 
3. Use the Country Bouquet Punch to punch out the hearts from the Country Floral Lane DSP large hearts scrap.
4. Use the Double Oval Punch to cut an oval from the Basic White scrap, and cut the scallop oval from a scrap Country Floral Lane DSP on the back of a bicycles page.
5. Stamp the inside of the card using sentiments from Country Bouquet Stamp Set. I used Happy Valentines Day and small hearts.
6. Stamp the white oval with the sentiment For You from the same stamp set.
7. Use Stampin’ Seal to adhere the hearts layer to the Basic White card base.
8. Adhere the bicycle layer and the flip side blue layer diagonally on the card front.
9. Use Stampin’ Seal to adhere the two oval shapes together, and then to the card front.
10. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach both the cut out hearts and one cut out leaf to the oval layers. I put the large heart and leaves on the left side of the ovals, and the small heart on the right side.
11. Use the Fine Tip Glue to attach the other leaf under the heart cut out.
12. That’s it! You’ve made a beautiful card.
